Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website located at www.rrfest.com (the "Site") and your participation in Rivers & Roots Festival ("R&R Fest"), an event produced and presented by Privia Group, LLC ("Privia," "we," "us," or "our"). "Rivers & Roots" is a trademark owned by Privia Group, LLC.
By accessing the Site, submitting information, purchasing tickets, or attending the Event, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
Hmong American Partnership (HAP) serves as fiscal agent for a grant supporting this project. HAP is not the operator of the Site and is not responsible for event operations, ticketing, transactions, or liability under these Terms.
1. Eligibility and Acceptance
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Site. If you are under 18, you must use the Site under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian. By using the Site or attending the Event, you represent that you meet these requirements and agree to these Terms.
2. Event Overview and Changes
R&R Fest is a live, in-person event experience. Programming, schedules, vendors, performers, locations, and offerings may change at any time without notice.
We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to:
modify or cancel any portion of the Event;
limit capacity;
deny admission; and
remove any individual for safety, security, legal, or operational reasons.
3. Ticketing, Payments, and Merchant of Record
Privia Group, LLC is the merchant of record for transactions related to R&R Fest.
Transactions may be processed through third-party platforms and tools, including but not limited to Stripe and Tally. By completing a transaction, you agree to the applicable terms and policies of such third parties.
Unless otherwise expressly stated:
all sales are final;
tickets are non-refundable; and
prices and availability may change without notice.
We are not responsible for errors, outages, interruptions, or failures of third-party payment or ticketing systems.
4. Assumption of Risk
R&R Fest is an all-ages, public event that may include large crowds, live performances, food and beverage service, alcohol service by licensed vendors, and other dynamic conditions.
By attending, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation, including but not limited to:
crowd density and movement;
weather and environmental conditions;
food and beverage consumption, including allergens;
interactions with vendors, performers, and other attendees; and
travel to and from the Event.
5. Alcohol and Food Disclaimer
Alcohol, if available, will be served by licensed third-party vendors. All alcohol-related services are the sole responsibility of those vendors.
Privia Group, LLC:
does not manufacture, distribute, or directly serve alcohol;
is not responsible for overconsumption or misuse; and
disclaims liability arising from alcohol-related incidents to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Food vendors are independent operators. Attendees are solely responsible for evaluating dietary restrictions, allergies, and food safety considerations.
6. Media Release and Likeness Rights
By attending R&R Fest or participating in related activities, you grant Privia Group, LLC and its designees a perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, royalty-free, fully transferable, and sublicensable right to capture, use, reproduce, distribute, display, publish, and create derivative works from your name, image, likeness, voice, statements, and appearance in any media now known or later developed.
These rights may be used for:
promotional and marketing purposes;
commercial and sponsorship materials;
documentary and editorial content;
social media and digital distribution;
advertising and brand campaigns; and
grant reporting and institutional materials.
You waive any right to inspect or approve such uses and release Privia Group, LLC from any claims arising from such use.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on the Site and at the Event, including trademarks, logos, designs, text, graphics, audio, video, and other materials, are owned by or licensed to Privia Group, LLC and are protected by intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or exploit any content without prior written permission.
8. User Conduct
You agree not to:
engage in unlawful, harmful, or disruptive behavior;
interfere with event operations or other attendees;
violate vendor, sponsor, or venue rules; or
misuse the Site or its content.
We reserve the right to remove or ban individuals without refund for violations.
9. Third-Party Vendors and Services
R&R Fest may feature independent vendors, sponsors, and service providers. These parties operate independently and are responsible for their own products, services, and conduct.
Privia Group, LLC is not responsible for:
vendor transactions;
product quality or safety;
third-party services; or
disputes between attendees and vendors.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Privia Group, LLC and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents shall not be liable for any:
indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages;
loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill; or
damages arising out of or related to the Site, the Event, or any third-party interactions,
even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Privia Group, LLC and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising from:
your use of the Site;
your participation in the Event; or
your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
12. Force Majeure
We are not responsible for delays, changes, or cancellations caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to weather, public health concerns, acts of government, labor disputes, supply chain disruptions, or other unforeseen circumstances.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site or attendance at the Event after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
15. Minnesota Humanities Center / Legacy Acknowledgment
This work is funded in part by the Minnesota Humanities Center with money from the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund, as appropriated by the Minnesota State Legislature from the Minnesota Clean Water, Land & Legacy Amendment, created by the vote of the people of Minnesota on November 4, 2008. Funding for this project was originally awarded under the project title “Sabaidee Cultural Festival.” Hmong American Partnership (HAP) serves as the fiscal agent for this grant.
